SLIPKNOT: 'Infected' Game Screenshots Posted Online

October 11, 2005

SLIPKNOT fan site Metabolic666.com has uploaded several brand-new screenshots of the SLIPKNOT characters in the "Infected" video game, scheduled for release on PSP (PlayStation Portable) in November.

In addition to providing the tracks "Eyeless", "Everything Ends" and "Pulse of the Maggots" to the in-game soundtrack, all nine members of SLIPKNOT appear in-game as unlockable characters for use in either single player or multiplayer modes. 3volution Studios, co-owned by Raymond Herrera, drummer of FEAR FACTORY, will be responsible for creating all the sound F/X and recording voice-overs for Infected. More information is available at this location.

As previously reported, SLIPKNOT will be signing copies of their new live album, "9.0: Live", on Tuesday, November 1 at the Best Buy store in New York City's Times Square (519 5th Ave at 44th Street). This unique first-come-first-served event begins promptly at 5 p.m. so make sure to be there early.

Recorded at shows in Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore and Las Vegas, "9.0: Live" is scheduled for release on November 1 via Roadrunner Records (one day earlier internationally).
